How it’s built
- Layout
- A painted underwater portrait fills the canvas: a woman’s face and upper body are centered among coral, small fish and aquatic plants. Huge condensed white name fragments occupy opposite lower corners and overlay the painting without a conventional header or card system.
- Type
- Monumental condensed uppercase white lettering sits over the image in opposing corners; no smaller type system is visible. Exact font and metrics unknown.
- Color and surface
- Layered sea greens, teal, coral red and blue in a painterly image, with high-contrast white type.
- Components
- Full-canvas illustration, central human figure, surrounding underwater details, and oversized opposite-corner name fragments.
What makes it work
- Immersive full-canvas illustration
- Central figure within environmental details
- Large type overlaid at opposing corners
On a new subjectFor a children’s literacy nonprofit, commission one original illustrated reading-world scene with a central child among meaningful environmental details, then place the organization name in large type at opposing corners over the image. Replace the underwater subject with literacy imagery.
Live behavior
- Today
- The dated live-page captures show a full-viewport painted portrait composition with a fixed white navigation row near the top and small white text around a central work label. The sampled desktop and tablet image is an orange-haired figure against a saturated, painterly blue, green and purple field; the mobile crop centers the face, with JULIEN CALOT at upper left, MENU at upper right, MEDITANTS centered, and BY SERIES / BY COLORS near the lower edge. These are observations of the saved frames, not a full page walkthrough.
- Responsive
- Direct browser measurements cover 1440×1000 desktop (document 1440×6735), 768×1024 tablet (768×5510), and 390×844 mobile (390×9202). At the sampled viewport, the measured header is fixed and 58 px high on desktop/tablet and 70 px high on mobile. MEDITANTS is measured at 23 px, weight 900, white in all three captures; its sampled y position is 488.5 px desktop, 500.5 px tablet, and 410.5 px mobile. These are discrete samples, not breakpoint thresholds or behavior at unsampled sizes.
- Scroll
- The desktop-scroll measurement records scroll_y=750 in a 1440×1000 viewport with document height 6735. Its screenshot is byte-identical to the opening desktop frames, so the saved image does not show a distinguishable scroll state. The measured offset is retained, but no scroll-trigger effect or visual transition is inferred.
