How it’s built

Layout
A very sparse near-white page centers a compact bold identity near top, then a dark softly shadowed Explore control with a lighter inset square plus area. A large close cropped overhead view of a pale-yellow scooter rises from the lower edge in front of nested warm cream/yellow rounded arch bands. No explanatory body copy or full menu is visible.
Type
Compact bold uppercase sans identity beside a line emblem; small normal-case light sans action. Typography stays much smaller than the product.
Color and surface
Near-white field, pastel yellow object and nested rounded arch bands, black mechanical details and identity, charcoal rounded action with soft shadow and lighter inset square.
Components
Centered identity, split/inset plus action, nested rounded arch backdrop and oversized cropped product image.

What makes it work

  • Near-white field with large negative space
  • Small centered identity and one dark inset-detail action
  • Oversized lower-cropped product image
  • Nested pastel rounded arch backdrop
On a new subjectFor a public repair-tool lending program, place an original oversized cropped hand-tool kit low on near-white in front of nested pale-blue rounded arches. Keep only small centered identity and one dark action with a lighter inset plus area above, replacing scooter imagery and brand content.

Live behavior

Today
Current Second Ride is a photographic two-choice landing page, unlike the separately selected sparse yellow-scooter gallery version. Desktop has two equal edge-to-edge rider images with deep black lower fades, compact bold light category names and small explanations. White identity is centered across their join; footer is black with yellow identity/action and restrained link columns. A large rounded white consent panel masks the lower-left category. Images are sampled IMG elements; no video implementation is implied.
Responsive
At1440px category images share equal columns. At768px and390px they stack vertically, and a large pale translucent-looking rounded header contains compact identity and globe/package/menu icons. At390px the consent panel spans almost the full width and covers most of the lower choice. Category headings retain the same24px computed size across the three widths; image heights/crops change. The preference capture has a centered white identity instead of the pale icon header; timing/preference effects are not isolated.
Scroll
Requested desktop scrolling reaches530px, the available bottom limit in a1530px document with1000px viewport. The category labels shift upward and the black footer becomes visible, including yellow identity, rounded subscription action and three link groups. Consent remains fixed at lower left and obscures footer items. Actual530px, not requested750px, is the supported scroll distance.
