How it’s built

Layout
A nearly black full-frame abstract image of broad diagonal blurred forms with faint chromatic fringes. A compact white STEVEN.COM wordmark sits at center, cut by a thin hand-drawn red diagonal stroke that extends beyond the lettering. Large dark negative areas surround the mark.
Type
Bold uppercase geometric sans wordmark centered; no other readable page type. Exact typeface and metrics unknown.
Color and surface
Near-black and charcoal blur with subtle colored edge fringes; crisp white type and a narrow coral-red stroke. Image colors are not CSS measurements.
Components
Centered identity, intersecting red hand-drawn stroke, abstract full-frame backdrop; no visible controls.

What makes it work

  • Dark defocused full-frame field
  • Centered compact identity
  • One fine diagonal mark crossing the identity
On a new subjectFor an independent climate-policy institute, center a short, high-contrast institute name over a dark defocused image of a field instrument or landscape, then let one fine diagonal annotation stroke cross the name. Replace the source identity and imagery; retain the subdued background and restrained mark.

Live behavior

Today
The later live screenshots show a dark page with a large circular diagram, creator-related labels and directional marks, a STEVEN.COM/time/MENU header, a creator-economy headline, and an About Us link. A cookie notice is visible in most loaded page frames. The first and separate reduced-motion mobile captures are pale loading-like frames.
Responsive
Direct paired viewport measurements are 1440×1000 desktop, 768×1024 tablet, and 390×844 mobile. All seven measurements report document dimensions equal to viewport dimensions and scroll_y=0. The desktop/tablet states use a large circular composition; mobile places an ecosystem link and headline above a smaller diagram. The reduced-motion mobile capture differs substantially from the ordinary mobile page frame. These discrete states do not establish breakpoint thresholds or complete responsive behavior.
Scroll
The state labelled desktop-scroll is paired with scroll_y=0 and document dimensions equal to the viewport. Its screenshot shows the circular diagram with a face in the center, but no actual scrolling is recorded, so no scroll-driven behavior is inferred.
