How it’s built

Layout
A black page is dominated by warm-toned photographed arms and hands spanning the center and lower field, extending behind and below an oversized white INDIGO identity near the top; parts of the image intersect the letterforms, but the still does not establish the masking construction. THE MAKER and CONTACT sit at the upper corners, a small sound control is below the wordmark, and a centered lower list names five story themes.
Type
Heavy custom-looking uppercase white wordmark, with photographed imagery visibly overlapping/appearing through portions of the letters; small sans corner labels, a small sound control and a centered clean sans theme list. Exact typeface and masking method are unknown.
Color and surface
Near-black negative field contrasts with the oversized white identity and warm skin/jewelry photography that extends across much of the page; lower theme list is white on black.
Components
Dominant photographed arms/hands across the central and lower field, oversized white image-overlapped identity, compact edge identity/contact, small sound control, centered lower list of five themes and narrow side progress line.

What makes it work

  • Black negative-space field
  • Large warm-toned photographic subject spanning the center and lower page
  • Oversized white identity near the top visibly overlapping/intersecting the photograph
  • Compact edge identity/contact
  • Separate lower centered theme list
On a new subjectFor a family oral-history archive, use a large warm-toned photograph of a storyteller’s hands or archival objects spanning the page center and lower field, overlap it with an oversized white archive title near the top, and retain small archive/contact links at the upper edges plus a separate centered list of interview themes below. Preserve the visible photo/title overlap without assuming a specific clipping or masking technique; replace the source identity and imagery.

Live behavior

Today
The live screenshots show an introductory screen over blurred close-up imagery, with a sound glyph, a welcome sentence describing five tales, an “ENTER THE EXPERIENCE” control, and a “CONTINUE WITHOUT SOUND” control. This intro remains visible across the sampled desktop, tablet, and mobile states.
Responsive
Direct paired viewport measurements are 1440×1000 desktop, 768×1024 tablet, and 390×844 mobile. Measured document sizes are 1440×44374, 768×74655, and 390×50946 respectively (reported fractional values are retained in measured_states). At the sampled widths, the intro remains centered and the welcome sentence wraps into progressively more lines on tablet/mobile. These screenshots do not establish breakpoint thresholds or behavior at intermediate widths.
Scroll
The desktop-scroll screenshot and measurement record scroll_y=750. The intro text and controls remain in view while the blurred background composition differs from the top-of-page states. This supports only that the intro remained visible at the sampled offset; no complete scroll progression or transition is inferred.
