How it’s built

Layout
An open cream notebook fills most of the still, with a central curved binding and slightly angled pages. Handwritten notes, taped photographs, tickets, stamps, clipped typography, sketches and a film strip overlap on the pages. A circular seal near the upper middle-left is pointed to by a handwritten Enter arrow. Coffee/pen and the tabletop sit around the book; no conventional webpage header is visible.
Type
Casual handwritten-looking black notes contrast with mixed printed serif/sans cutouts, ticket type and faint monospaced-looking snippets. These are image treatments; font implementation is unknown.
Color and surface
Warm white paper and tabletop, soft directional paper shadows, faded green/red tickets, pale adhesive tabs, small blue butterfly sticker and photographic color. Layered edges and curved pages create tactile depth.
Components
Open notebook scene, layered ephemera/photos, handwritten notes/arrows, circular entry seal, sketches and filmstrip. Surrounding physical props are not mandatory site chrome.

What makes it work

  • Open two-page journal with visible binding/curved paper depth
  • Irregular layered photos, notes and printed ephemera
  • Casual handwritten note/arrow hierarchy
  • Distinct entry cue integrated with the journal
On a new subjectFor a community oral-history collection, create an original open field journal with interview photographs, consent-ticket facsimiles, handwritten memories and layered document fragments. Point a casual arrow to a clear archive-entry seal. Replace personal source notes and imagery; the still does not establish page turning or functioning links.

Live behavior

Today
Desktop and ordinary mobile show a photographic scrapbook on a desk: open book, handwritten notes, photos, clipped ephemera, coffee and pen. Text within artwork is visually observed; DOM typography cannot be assumed to measure it.
Responsive
Tablet and phone crop the book heavily. Fresh reduced-motion phone instead displays a lined-paper page with handwritten-style heading, photo and cookie prompt; reload and navigation may explain the difference.
